AGIDEAS Conference

Trends and Designers

During 3 days of amazing join agidears, I got lots of inspiration form those speakers. One designer that impress me is Ree Freweek from South Africa. Her animations are pretty good, the 3D technique used is advanced images look very exquisite, nice and fluent. All her works are showed some magic stores, the imagination is vividly, colourful, lively and inspirational. Certain can catch children's heart easily.

The Tale of How is one of her best film, a digital marvel of the handcrafted aesthetic. The visuals bring to life incredibly detailed and fantastic tapestries influenced by Bosch, Japanese Prints and Surrealists, via 3-D modeling and texture shading. Telling the story of an island of dodo-like birds terrorized by a malcontent octopus who relentlessly devours them, this work by the South African collective, The Blackheart Gang, is unabashedly fun and yet indescribably odd.

I am going to share links about her works

Concept Evalution

My favour design is the Playboy logo form Art Paul. He has had a career that can best be described as an adventure.
The rabbit symbol he designed was at first used as the endpoint for – to signal the end of – the magazine’s articles. He began moving the logo to the cover by the third issue, and put in on every one from then on. It became an important addition to the cover, integrated into each cover’s design in playful ways. As for the choice of a rabbit as our logo, we saw the rabbit as the ‘playboy’ of the animal world. The rabbit’s alert ears represented a playful energy and its bow tie suggested a tux – “living the good life.”
